Hong Kong – Bonhams Hong Kong is thrilled to announce the Luxury Designer Handbags and Online Sale, an incredible 100-lot online auction of predominantly rare and classic Hermès and cult Chanel handbags, plus limited edition Labubu contemporary art collectibles, taking place on bonhams.com between 17-26 November 2025.
This is the largest sale ever focused solely on luxury handbags hosted by Bonhams Hong Kong. The online sale features every classic design from the maison including the Birkin, Mini Kelly, Constance and Lindy making it a collectors dream of highly coveted, signature Hermès bags. The sale will also tap into the contemporary phenomenon of the Labubu trend, featuring two giant, limited edition Labubu figurines.
The Luxury Designer Handbags and Online Sale has been curated by the newly appointed Head of Sales and Senior Specialist of Designer Handbags and Fashion, Crystal Wong who has over a decade of experience within the luxury handbag industry, exceptional market expertise, industry insight and brings her extensive client network to Bonhams. This remarkably curated luxury handbag sale reflects Wong's fresh approach and commitment to elevating and innovating Bonhams luxury designer auctions.

Standout lots include:
•A Hermès black and rouge VIF box vintage mini Kelly with gold hardware, circa 1993. An emblem of the timeless luxury of the house, the first Mini Kelly was launched in 1957, though the iconic "bracelet" top handle wasn't introduced until 1980. The bag was discontinued in 2009 but was reintroduced in 2016 as the Mini Kelly II with a new, more compact design. Offered with an estimate of HK$100,000-200,000.
•A Hermès limited edition gris pale bubblegum pink, vert moyen Swift tartan Kelly 25, circa 2025. The bag with palladium hardware, cleverly combines classic Hermès craftsmanship and construction with a playful and charming tartan design. Made in Swift leather to create a softer silhouette, the bag is from the current collection, making it a modern Hermès collectors' piece. Offered with an estimate of HK$240,000-360,000.
•A Hermès Ebene Evercalf Leather and Ponyhair HAC Troika Birkin 32, circa 2007. The bag with palladium hardware is offered with an estimate of HK$120,000-200,000.

•A Chanel limited edition clear piexiglass Dubai by night gasoline tank bag, circa 2015. Unveiled during Chanel's 2015 Cruise collection by Karl Lagerfeld, held on a private, man-made island owned by the Crown Prince of Dubai. The bag is a rare collector's piece which personifies Lagerfeld's playful, creative approach and runway legacy. This unique Chanel piece is crafted from transparent piexiglass, shaped like a jerry can featuring the iconic CC logo, with light gold chain strap and gold hardware. Offered with an estimate of HK$30,000-70,000.
To complement the luxury handbag sale, Bonhams Hong Kong is excited to offer two figurines by contemporary Hong Kong artist, Kasing Lung, creator of the famous monster and global phenomenon, Labubu. The character has transcended the contemporary art and toy market into fashion, becoming a globally recognised cult figure with Labubu's seen attached to every luxury handbag.
•A How2work x Kasing Lung Labubu Limited 15 Editions Life Size Brown Labubu. First shown in Hong Kong in the "De Kleuren Monsters" exhibition in 2017, this 20-by-65-inch figurine is one of only 15 limited editions. Designed via a collaboration between Labubu creator and artist Kasing Lung and renown Hong Kong based art toy company, How2Work, makers of surreal and whimsical contemporary designer toy collectibles. Offered with an estimate of HK$200,000-500,000.
•A Popmart, The Monsters by Kasing Lung, pink mega Labubu TEC 1000%. The Labubu was exhibited at international contemporary art galleries including the Pinto Gallery L.A. and 3 White Dots, Hong Kong and is offered with an estimate of HK$16,000-60,000.
