Dubai – Bonhams, the lead auction house partner of Dubai Watch Week, joins one of the most anticipated events on the global horology calendar, taking place 19–23 November 2025 at Dubai Mall, Burj Park. This partnership offers a unique platform to engage directly with a passionate community of collectors and enthusiasts, while showcasing Bonhams expertise through a curated series of events celebrating the art of horological excellence. All activities will take place within the dedicated Bonhams space as part of the wider Dubai Watch Week programme. In collaboration with Dubai Watch Week, Bonhams shares a vision to unite collectors and aficionados in exploring the confluence of watches, jewellery, art, design, and culture.
Bonhams will present a curated preview of best-in-class timepieces, featuring coveted names such as A. Lange & Söhne, Breguet, Cartier, IWC, and Patek Philippe, ahead of the upcoming London Fine Watches Sale in December. The showcase will be complemented by a selection of designer handbags and fashion pieces, including Hermès creations and exceptional Haute Couture gowns from the Ralph & Russo archive. Also, on display will be signed jewels of remarkable quality and craftsmanship, highlighted by diamond and emerald jewellery from the renowned maisons of Cartier and Boucheron, in addition to artworks from the Middle East.
Throughout Dubai Watch Week, Bonhams will present a series of enriching experiences for the global watch and luxury community. Highlights include an opening cocktail reception at the Bonhams booth, hosted in collaboration with Pernod Ricard, to mark the start of the week. Across the week, guests can enjoy daily valuations for Watches, Jewellery, Handbags and Art with Bonhams global specialists, offering insights into the value and market potential of their collections across both auction and private sales platforms. Bonhams will also host a series of panel discussions featuring Bonhams experts alongside leading industry figures, including esteemed watch journalist and content creator Justin Hast, Charles Pocock from the distinguished Meem Gallery, and a private afternoon tea for the Dubai Watch Club Girls members.
London Fine Watches (11 December) highlights on view include:
• A Patek Philippe, Aquanaut Travel Time Advanced Research, reference 5650G-001, circa 2017. The fine, rare and innovative limited edition 18K white gold automatic calendar wristwatch with dual time zone and day/night indication is offered with an estimate of £200,000-300,000.
• A Patek Philippe, a fine and exceptional 18K rose gold automatic minute repeating wristwatch, circa 2011, offered with an estimate of £150,000-250,000.
• A Cartier Bamboo Coussin, rare 18K gold manual wind wristwatch, circa 1970. Following the models such as the Crash and Maxi Oval - now considered some of the most iconic watches designed by Cartier - came the Cartier Coussin. With its natural form, it embodied the 'back to nature' design movement of the 1970s with the distinctive case shape and sectional bezel that gives the appearance of bamboo canes. The watch is offered with an estimate of £40,000-60,000.
• A Patek Philippe, Grand Complication Celestial, reference 6102R-00, circa 2021. The rare and exceptional 18K rose gold automatic astronomical wristwatch with sky chart, phase and orbit of the moon, time of meridian, passage of Sirius and the moon is offered with an estimate of £120,000-180,000.
The Haute Couture Archive of Ralph & Russo (1-12 December) highlights on view include:
• A Ralph & Russo Haute Couture, midnight blue hand painted silk satin gown with cape, Autumn/Winter 2016, Runway Look 2. The midnight blue double silk satin gown with attached floor-length cape and braided trim, hand-painted with a botanical design that took over 300 hours to paint, and is embellished with crystals, glass beads and metallic threadwork. The gown is offered with an estimate of £5,000-8,000.
• A Ralph & Russo Haute Couture, Spring/Summer 2015, Runway Look 1, Mint Green Embroidered caped dress. The Mint silk zibeline dress and integrated cape with tonal floral threadwork and pink chiffon and metallic petals with turquoise beaded accents and simulated pearl drops is offered with an estimate of £4,000-6,000.
• A Ralph & Russo Haute Couture, custom made sportwear collection, white fencing inspired outfit. The white boning caged mesh and lace jacket is embroidered with laser cut flowers appliqué embellished with pearls and crystals. Worn with mesh lace leggings with stitched shin pad detailing, embroidered with pearls and small crystals. The outfit took took two experienced artisans and two embroiderers over 320 hours to create and is offered with an estimate of £4,000-6,000.
London Jewels (11 December) highlights on view include:
• A Boucheron diamond & emerald necklace and earring suite. Designed with bow detailing, the suite is offered with an estimate of £50,000-80,000.
• A Cartier 'Dame a la Panthère' diamond and onyx necklace, circa 2004. Property of a Distinguished Lady, the pendant is pavé-set throughout with brilliant cut diamonds and polished onyx accents, suspending a drop-shaped emerald, to a cord necklace with polished drop-shaped onyx terminals and a similarly set slider. Offered with an estimate of £25,000-35,000.
• A diamond 1930s strap bracelet. The articulated strap of openwork design, millegrain-set throughout with old brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, is offered with an estimate of £15,000-25,000.
