London – Bonhams announces the appointment of Suzy Sikorski as Business Development Director in the Middle East. With an established career in the auction world, Suzy brings a decade of expertise in 20th & 21st Century Art, with a focus in Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art, working closely with collectors, institutions and cultural partners across global markets.

In her new role at Bonhams, Suzy will be based between the UAE and KSA, where she will drive strategic client development and sourcing across the region's art and luxury markets to drive growth across Bonhams global sales and private initiatives.

Prior to joining Bonhams, Suzy was a lead specialist in Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art sales for Christie's, where over 7 years, she developed seasons of Middle Eastern Modern and Contemporary Art auctions across London and Dubai, in addition to private sales initiatives in the Dubai office.

Suzy is also the founder of Mid East Art, a platform dedicated to storytelling, research, and public programming around modern and contemporary art from the Arab world. The platform has hosted events and collaborations with embassies, foundations, and regional institutions and continues to run private and public events.

A Fulbright Scholar originally from New York, Suzy holds a BA in Middle East Studies from Fordham University, New York, with minors in Art History and French and speaks French and intermediate Arabic.
