The cornerstones of the Lone Star Collection make each and every lot in this selection a standout. The size and scope of which could only be achieved by a disciplined commitment to those principles. With over 40 years of experience at the helm of one of the largest distribution operations in the world our consignor, industry insider and tastemaker, diligently and thoughtfully stockpiled their cellar with expertise and great care.

This level of depth is rarely found anywhere. Not just in how many different labels are on offer, but in the quantities available of them. Highly allocated bottles most would consider themselves lucky to even have an opportunity to own, appear in multitudes. 5 bottles of the mythical Willet 25 Years Old Rye (only 111 bottles ever made), dozens of Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year and 23 Year Old expressions as well as the ultra-premium Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Years Old.

There are those who preserve history, and then there are those who rescue it. Of the 19 distilleries in Scotland, either mothballed or outright demolished in the 1980s, 14 of them appear in this selection. Bottles possessed by the ghosts of these lost operations would fade into the folds of time, but not here. Here the legacies of Convalmore, Brora, Dallas Dhu, and Port Ellen live on.

The only way an archive such as this one could be amassed is piece by piece. Steady perseverance is required to construct such a listing. As much as it requires self-control a reliable palate is equally important. Ultimately, trends come and go, but The Lone Star Collector's sense of smell, and taste, polished over the years as a Wine and Spirits Judge proved a worthy compass. That desire to follow quality over all else is exactly why this offering is buoyed by whiskies from every region, rum, brandy, at all price points, a multitude of age statements tethered by the tenets of the Lone Star Collection.
