A bronze incense burner

Meiji era (1868-1912)
The cylindrical vessel cast with reserves of a kirin and a hoo-oo set off by shishi-head handles suspended single rings under two rows of lotus petals and floral swags under a pierced cover cast with a minogame and dragon on a bed of cloud scrolls.
9 1/4in (23.5cm) high; 12in (30.5cm) width across handles
