An uncut fragment of an embroidered dragon court robe

Late Qing dynasty
Of quatrefoil shape, the dark blue silk ground embroidered in polychrome and gold-wrapped threads with four frontal five-clawed dragons amid clouds all above a lishui border along the base of each lobe, the original opening for the neck filled with a square patch enclosing a dragon.
