A group of seven textile fragments
Republic period or later
Including a square fragment worked in gilt threads with four dragons against ruyi-shaped clouds and a yellow ground; a pair of red-ground sleeve bands embroidered with rockwork and pavilions; a circular fragment worked with blue and white threads to form a 'shou' roundel encircled by bats and flowers; one square fragment with figures against a yellow brocade ground; a small rectangular peach-ground fragment with flowers bordered by auspicious emblems; a red-ground square fragment worked in blue and white threads with butterflies and vines.
38 x 32 1/2in (96.5 x 82.5cm) the largest (7).
