A Longquan celadon-glazed tripod censer

Ming dynasty
Set over three mask-form feet, the shallow rounded sides curving in at the rim, the exterior with two bands of bosses, covered overall with a seafoam-green glaze suffused with craquelure save for the exposed biscuit center of the interior molded with a peony sprig and the biscuit countersunk base, both burnt orange from firing.
11 3/8in (28.9cm) diam.
