An enameled porcelain plaque

Attributed to Wang Yizhi, Republic period
The rectangular panel oriented horizontally and painted with Li Tieguai and Cao Guojiu seated on rocks beneath leafy trees watching a pair of grasshoppers leap through the air, a large double gourd leaning against Li Tieguai, the garments and natural setting painted in loose brushstrokes, in the upper right corner a poetic inscription signed Wang Yizhi accompanied by a seal.
