An blue and white ogee-form 'bajixiang' dish

Qianlong seal mark, late 19th / 20th century
The rounded sides rising from a sloping foot, the interior centered with a flowerhead within a scalloped roundel issuing peaches and blossoms, the cavetto with the 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' each tied with a ribbon, the exterior sides with a composite floral scroll above a band of ruyi heads, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
7 7/8in (20in) diam.

A rare Chinese group of the Tyrolean Dancers, Qianlong period, circa 1752
