A large hongmu and mixed wood altar table

Republic period
The long two-board floating panel top set into mitered, mortise and tenon frame over a double 'incense stick' edge and narrow waist set above an elaborate raised beaded and keyfret embellished apron set between paired spiral spandrels cut into the straight double 'incense stick'-fashioned supports joined on the short side with paired square stretchers.
34 3/4in high; 86 1/2in long; 17 1/2in deep (88.3 x 219.7 x 44.5cm)
