A group of three hardwood scholar's objects

Late Qing dynasty/Republic period
The first, a seal box of rectangular form comprising two shallow trays and a handle, all set on a grooved base frame with short sides; the second, a rectangular box inlaid with carved hardstones depicting a bird perched on blossoming branches; the third, a hardwood square-section baluster vase decorated with silver-inlaid lotus scrolls.
5 1/8 x 9 1/4 x 7in (13 x 23.5 x 17.8cm) the chest; 2 5/8 x 5 1/2 x 4in (6.7 x 14 x 10.2cm) the box; 6 3/8in (16.2cm) high, the vase (3).
