A bronze tripod censer

Meiji era (1868-1912)
Raised on three curved legs cast in high relief with paulownia sprays under a main body band of romping tigers playfully contesting ribbon-tied balls under a narrow band of squirrels and grapevines below the short rim and set off by a pair of elaborate gnarled grapevine handles, accompanied by elegant conforming wood stand and cover.
