A three-section celadon jade and gilt metal belt buckle

Late Ming/early Qing dynasty
The rectangular central section set with a jade plaque carved and reticulated to depict a sinuous chilong amidst lotus scrolls, the gilt-metal mounting terminating in a turquoise-inlaid ruyi-form hook on either end, the two flanking peach-form jade plaques each carved with openwork 'peony' designs and set in a gilt-metal mount with a lingzhi loop, all three mounts with a slide on the reverse for attachment to a belt.
