A hardstone-embellished gilt-metal belt buckle

19th century
The rectangular central shaft set with aquamarine-colored beryl and flanked by an oval terminus on either end set with rose quartz and a green hardstone, respectively, the gilt-metal mount with mesh sides and chased on the reverse with a 'blossoming prunus' motif, the reverse with a metal double-strap slide and knop.
