Two rectangular white jade plaques

The smaller plaque carved with two opposing reserves, one framing a bearded scholar and a young boy running after a crane in flight, the verso carved as a sage watching two playful boys climbing a wutong tree (clasp marked 18K); the larger plaque designed with two highly stylized dragons forming a band on each side, the front further carved with a scholar playing an instrument under a tree, the reverse carved in relief with two lines of a poem and two seal cartouches (minute chips).
2 x 1 3/8 (5.1 x 3.5cm) and 2 3/8 x 1 5/8in (6 x 4.2cm) (2).
