Two jade mounted hand mirrors
19th century
Each attached to a white jade dragon hook; the first in a quadrilobe outline, inset with a conforming jade plaque carved within a ruyi-head reserve with a woven basket containing a large peach, leafy flowers, and lingzhi mushrooms, the second an oval-shaped mirror mounted with an elongated oval jade plaque carved in relief with three of the Buddhist symbols, the silver with engraved and chased designs, and inset with jadeite and hardstone cabochons (soiling, small chips).
9 1/4 and 8 3/4in (23.5 and 22.3cm) overall length of each mirror
