Two Thangkas

Tibet, 19th century
The first depicting wrathful Bardo deities, the complex array of deities centered by Sri Heruka and consort upon a traditional blue and green landscape background; the second painted with the Shakyamuni Buddha centering an elaborate, likely lamrim lineage of patriarchs and other predominantly benevolent deities on a blue and green background; each mounted with silks brocade (wear, creased, pigment loses faded).
22 1/2 x 19 and 18 1/4 x 13in (57.1 x 48.2 and 46.3 x 33cm) face (2).
