two boxwood ruyi scepters

Late Qing/Republic period
Both of typical shape, one reticulated in raised relief to depict groups of immortals to each node and Ba Jixiang along the curved shaft; the second with dragon and phoenix to the top node, additional immortals to the bottom two nodes and a curved shaft reticulated as stylized shou characters (minor dents, scratches).
16 1/2in (42cm) length of first and longer (2).
