Two wucai-decorated porcelains

17th century
Each displaying enamels of the famille verte palette combined with underglaze cobalt details: the first a gu-form vase with branches of fruit and flowers drawn below Flowers of the Four Seasons arranged in vases amid garden rocks and banana plants (losses, repairs); the second a baluster jar with phoenixes flying amid peony branches that repeat on the short neck, the shoulder painted in underglaze blue with a cracked ice pattern (broken, repaired).
