Signed Xuetao, with a dedication and one seal of the artist. The reverse inscribed and signed Qi Gong, dated 1976, with the same dedication and two seals of the artist

宇超同志咲正，雪濤寫於瓦壺齋。
（另面）
堆几盡埃簡，攻之如蠹蟲。誰知聖人意，不在古書中。自昔懷清賞，神遊杳靄間。如今不是夢，真個是廬山。今年手自栽，問我何年去。他年我復來，搖落傷人思。枕上杜鵑啼，每每早起時。出門天未曉，月在杏花枝。一九七六年，書奉宇超同志留念。

上款：「宇超」應為李宇超（1906-1968），字任西，號越公，齋名倚琴樓，山東諸城人。一說謂李氏與陳賡、李克農、錢壯飛等乃中共「情報奇才」。一九四九年後歷任山東統戰部副部長、山東省副省長，並曾主持山東省文管會。六十年代調任上海華東局副秘書長，文革中含冤辭世。李氏鍾情翰墨、好收藏，所藏二十世紀京滬名家作品多精品大幅，古代書畫收藏亦豐，錢鏡塘「數青草堂」舊藏不少早期海派名家即歸李氏「倚琴樓」後再釋出市場。

註：扇骨為竹刻名家沈覺初（1914-2008）捉刀，來楚生作畫稿。
