Inscribed and signed Zhiyun Pan Da, dated xinsi year (1941), with a dedication and two seals of the artist. The reverse signed Fu Lei, with the same dedication and one seal of the artist

上款：「森玉」即徐森玉（1881-1971），名鴻寶，字森玉，以字行。浙江吳興人。少入白鹿洞書院，師從于式枚。後考入山西大學堂，得山西學政宗室寶熙賞識，盡出所藏文物供其研究，始接觸古物之鑑定與考證。歷任清史館纂修、北京大學圖書館館長、故宮博物院古物館館長。抗戰軍興，參與主持北京故宮文物南運。後與張元濟、鄭振鐸等於滬組成「文獻保存同志會」，尋訪、購置瀕於危境之珍籍善本。建國後，出任上海文管會主任、上海博物館館長等職，大量求訪、回購文物，「三希」之王獻之〈中秋帖〉及王詢〈伯遠帖〉即經其手購歸。

註：扇骨為竹刻名家張志魚刻，清末封疆大臣趙爾巽（1844-1921）撰聯。
