題跋：
古人作畫，皆有深意，運思落筆，莫不各有所主。況名下無虛士，相傳既久，必有（過）人處。畫之六法得其一二者，尚能名世；又得其全者，可知也。臨摹古畫，先須會得古人精神命脈處，玩味思索，心有所得，落筆摹之。摹之再四，便見逐次改觀之效。若徒以彷彿為之，則掩卷輒忘，與古人全無相涉，摹仿古人也。壬午（1942）嘉平月，郭則澐謹題。

註：「石雪齋秘笈印」乃徐宗浩鑒藏印。徐宗浩（1880-1957），字養吾，號石雪。江蘇武進（今常熟）人，生於北京。一九二O年加入北京畫學研究會任評議，山水、花鳥皆能，尤精畫竹，著有《竹譜》。
