A thangka of Padmasambhava
Tibet, 19th century
Distemper on cloth; Padmasambhava joined by his two wives, Mandarva and Yeshe Tsogyal, in a mountainous verdant landscape below, and Amitabha in the sky, possibly flanked by Tangtong Gyalpo (c.1361-1480) on the left and Jigme Lingpa (c.1729-98) on the right.
