Footnotes

Private Ernest George Gerrish was born and enlisted in Bath and first serves overseas on the 19th September 1914. He was killed in action on the 16th September 1916. He was originally assigned the number 3/5737 however his MIC denotes discharged on 3rd January 1916. He rejoins with the number 26445. He is remembered on the Guards' Cemetery, Lesboeufs.
