A pair of famille rose and gilt enameled wine cups
Xiezhu zhuren zao mark, Republic period
Each of inverted bell form, the exterior walls painted with a ladybug resting on the leaf of a blossoming lotus plant rendered in richly hued enamels on a gilt ground, the interior covered in turquoise enamel and also applied around a square reserve on the shallowly recessed base inscribed in iron red seal script with the five-character mark.
