A group of four framed wood wall panels inset with porcelain plaques
Late Qing/Republic period,
the four circular plaques by Cheng Men (1833-1908)
Each wood panel of joined and mixed wood construction inset with an unsigned rectangular horizontal plaque at the top depicting a beauty in a garden painted in bright famille rose enamels; then a circular landscape plaque painted in pastel enamels (qianjiangcai), these middle circular panels all painted by Cheng Men (1833-1908) with seals reading Cheng shi, Men yin, Songsheng and perhaps zi bai tangzhu, the latter dated to the wuzi year (equivalent to 1888) and signed Li Dao Ren; all above four unsigned vertical landscape plaques with iron red key-fret borders.
