A pair of famille rose enameled export garden stools
19th century
Each of hexagonal section and barrel form, cut with cash-patterned openings to the top and sides surrounded by well-painted scenes of court beauties, officials and attendants, the side walls further painted en suite with auspicious emblems, birds and flower sprigs amid rows of gilt- painted circular boss at the top and rose-enameled bosses above the base.
18 1/2in (47cm) high
