A Dehua figure of Guanyin

He Chaochun double gourd seal, 19th/early 20th century
Standing on a rocky outcropping next to a rockwork pedestal containing a basket of fish, the delicate figure wearing and elaborate necklace setting off her plaited locks and holding an embellished ruyi scepter in her fight hand, her small shoulders accented by ribbon-like sashes cascading down the sides of her slender form, the double gourd seal impressed into the reverse.
