A massive huanghuali rectangular table
Late Qing/Republic period
The well figured three-board top set into a mitered, mortise and tenon frame above an intricate pierced panel carved with a continuous band of lotus blossoms, leaves and buds over a narrow beaded border, the vertical side panels repeating the decoration in a large central bracket and joined to a lower horizontal rail.
