An enameled glass snuff bottle

1767-1799
Of spade shape with a waisted neck, flat lip, the translucent white glass painted in a pleasant palette around the neck and narrow sides with flowers framing the main sides worked with soft-hued enamels, depicting graceful lotus and a bird, and a secluded landscape with figures in two boats floating on a river surrounded by tree and foliage-adorned banks and mountains; the gently recessed foot bearing traces of an iron-red mark.
