Two porcelain bottles

19th century
Both thinly potted, the first an elongated ovoid bottle with a cylindrical neck, rounded lip, recessed foot, carved in low relief portraying a fisherman in a boat floating in a river surrounded by sloping hills and soaring mountains with sparse trees and foliage, the exterior surfaces covered entirely with lemon-yellow glaze except the circular foot pad; the second a rounded rectangular bottle rested upon an oval foot ring, its subtly waisted neck decorated with a ruyi-collar band, each of the main sides molded with a split-tailed chilong striding through clouds painted in green enamel with black penciled details, separated by faux stylized handles heightened in deep tan enamel, all against a lemon-yellow ground.
3 and 2 9/16in (7.6 and 6.5cm) high
