Four porcelain snuff bottles

1780-1850
Including a well-potted baluster form bottle painted in underglaze blue depicting a hermit fishing at the bank of an immense lake surrounding secluded houses nestled in the shade of lush trees, with mountains in the distant skyline; three copper-red and underglaze blue decorated bottles, two of simple cylindrical form, one painted with an amusing moment of a fisherman trying to catch his hat taken by a crane, the other depicting theatrical scenes of figures in a landscape setting, the third an ovoid bottle decorated with an episodic scene of figures battling at an elaborate manor compound.
2 1/2 to 3in (6.4 to 7.6cm) high
