An inside-painted glass snuff bottle

Ye Zhongsan, 1911
Of rounded square form with a straight neck, flat lip, splayed oval foot ring, the interior painted in soft-hued colors with two episodic scenes titled Xihu Zhu and Huang Ying from Liaozhai Zhiyi, one depicting two female figures in theatrical custumes on horseback, followed by another female holding a spear over her shoulder, with two men looking on through the openings of large pierced rocks, the reverse displaying two men in conversation at garden near a dwelling with a woman enjoying her meal by a table.
