A white nephrite snuff bottle with russet skin

1750-1820
Well-hollowed, rendered in the form of a succulent peach, with a cylindrical neck, carefully recessed lip, the sides carved in high relief and to depict bat and a bee hovering around a monkey enjoying a ripe peach while seated beneath a stretching leafy branch; the attractive white stone polished to a soft luster partially covered with russet skin.
