A jadeite 'melon' snuff bottle
1780-1850
Very well-hollowed, of tapering ovoid form with a waisted neck, thin flat lip, raised circular foot, the sides lobed as a melon; the stone of predominantly pale green color cast with very faint lavender patches, and with splashes of apple green.
