A white nephrite snuff bottle and snuff dish

1750-1850
The snuff bottle very well-hollowed, designed in the form of a miniature baluster vase deeply undercut at the neck with two finely detailed dragon heads atop loop handles suspending a loose ring, the slightly celadon-tinged stone with paler inclusions and natural fissure lines; the shallow circular dish with a very short foot ring, carved from a greenish-white stone with oatmeal inclusions.
2 1/2in (6.4cm) height of bottle
1 3/4in (4.5cm) diameter of dish
