A pink overlay milky white glass hexagonal vase and matching stand
Qianlong mark, 18th/19th century
Of gently tapering hexagonal form, its slightly spreading neck and rounded shoulder encased with a band of vertical plantain leaves, the sides decorated with six conforming panels with arched tops framing images of a pine tree, bamboo, and a blooming prunus tree and separated by identically carved chilong, the lower section of the panels concealed by a border of continuous rock formation, the underside covered entirely with pink overlay, carved within a low circular foot ring with a four-character mark, the matching stand displaying varied shades designed with a recessed waist resting upon six shaped feet.
