Three bolts of brocade-woven silk
Late Qing/Republic period
The first, and longest, of deep burnt orange ground, woven in polychrome silk and fine silvery metal threads with a small-scale design of dragons and clouds; the second woven with an orange and silvery metal thread ground sprinkled with large-scale flowering branches worked in shades of red, blue, white and green,; the third of olive green woven in fine silvery metal threads with small scale phoenixes and flowering branches, the base woven with the inscription Jiangnan zhizao chen qishi si.
