A celadon jade belt slide and a mottled jade belt slide
Ming dynasty
The celadon jade slide carved with one chilong clambering along the face towards a smaller chilong crouching at one end above a scroll terminal turning in towards an opening of rectangular section for the belt underneath; the mottled grayish-brown slide carved in low relief with rows of small bosses within a sunken panel, the inturned terminals enclosing the belt slide underneath.
4 7/8in (12.4cm) length of larger carving
