A white jade belt hook

18th/19th century
The dragon-head hook finished with a drilled jawline and incised parallel lines forming the mane between its curving horns, the facing chilong with open jaw also deeply undercut from the handle curving over a button of rounded rectangular form, the matrix polished to a bright luster, displaying a faint greenish-white cast with some cloudy white inclusions.
