A greenish-white jade flattened baluster vase

Late Qing/Republic period
The pale green stone carved as a flattened baluster vase with a smooth, softly polished body embellished by reticulated archaistic scroll handles, the vase flanked on one side by a crane perched on pierced rockwork gripping a fruiting peach branch in its beak, and on the other side with further rockwork issuing a twisting branch of flowering prunus; mounted on a hanging stand.
