An unusual pair of zitan and burlwood stands
Republic Period
The finely figured square burlwood panel set into a mitered, mortise and tenon frame with a suspended ruyi head apron over a galleried beaded edge and further lappet bands setting off an open compartment framed by a pierced floral brackets over a lower section with hump-back stretchers all supported by elaborate cabriole legs.
