A pieced silk horizontal panel with embroidered decoration

Late Qing elements
Including four joined panels taken from a blue ground dragon robe preserving the dragons in couched gilt threads set amid cloud scrolls in satin stitch and ribboned symbols in tightly knotted stitch above a tall lishui border worked in white and brightly hued satin stitch; the narrow horizontal panel along the top taken from a woman's blue satin coat embroidered in shades of blue and white with floral sprigs; the border bands of black silk brocade woven with shou medallions in fine gilt-wrapped threads.
