A rare embroidered dragon badge

Ming dynasty
The square-sectioned panel finely worked in silk threads of yellow, red, blue and white coloration, depicting a large side-profiled dragon with its jaw wide open, chasing a precious jewel above wave scrolls, against a black silk satin ground.
