A group of eight archaistic jade belt slides

Qing dynasty
Each of rectangular silhouette and C-scroll form reversed by a rectangular shaped loop: five of the group similarly formed with dissolved animal masks set above fields of minute bosses rising close together in five to seven vertical rows, the stone varying in color from an altered white to a pale olive green; a sixth example of mottled black and gray color displaying four rows of bosses below an animal mask and the seventh of opaque straw hue exhibiting three rows of raised bosses; the last and smallest carved with a field of interlaced C-commas and criss-cross reserves.
