A greenish-white jade covered censer

18th/19th century
Its compressed body raised on three low supports, flanked with a pair of mythical animal-head handles suspending loose rings, its sides decorated with a wide band of taotie masks that repeat to the domed cover surrounding a circular finial with an openwork dragon; the even greenish-white stone with white flecks and patches, and a few russet-stained fissure lines.
