An enameled tray decorated with foreign figures

Qianlong period
The rectangular tray raised on four bracket feet and delicately painted with a foreign gentleman seated on a carpet flanked by three companions waiting for refreshments brought by two servants and a putti in flight, the figures gathered on a lush riverbank with overarching pines and maple trees, the scene enclosed by a diaper and floral border and reversed by a dynamic scene of a yellow and a blue dragon cavorting in billowing clouds under a yellow 'cracked ice and prunus' border.
12in (30.5cm) long
