A large cast bronze vessel, ding
Late Qing dynasty
The low set body raised on three cabriole feet and rendered in the form of an archaic cast bronze ding cast with a broad band of abstract long-tailed birds set against a leiwen ground under a wide beaded rim, the interior well cast with a pair of fish centered on a two-character inscription reading Daji (good fortune).
