Private John Mitchelmore was born at Totnes, Devon, he enlisted at Kingston on Thames, Surrey (Maida Vale, Middlesex). He was killed in action on 30th November 1917, aged 34. He was formerly 30197 East Surrey Regiment. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.
